Maintenance Worker – NDIS Participants (Western Sydney)



Contract Care Support Services is looking for a reliable and practical Maintenance Worker to assist our NDIS participants with general home and garden maintenance across Western Sydney.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to make a positive difference by helping people maintain safe and comfortable living environments.



About the Role
You will support NDIS participants by carrying out general maintenance tasks around their homes and gardens. Work will take place at various participant homes across Western Sydney.



Key Responsibilities


  • General home maintenance and minor repairs
  • Lawn mowing, gardening, and basic landscaping
  • Small household maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing doors, minor repairs)
  • Ensuring participant homes remain safe, tidy, and well maintained
  • Communicating respectfully and professionally with participants and the team



    About You


  • Experience in general maintenance, gardening, handyman work, or similar
  • Practical problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Friendly, respectful, and reliable
  • Comfortable working around people with disability
  • Good time management and organisational skills



    Requirements


  • Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
